Interior design studio — Copenhagen
We design warm, considered interiors for homes and hospitality — layered in natural materials, softened light and objects with a history.
Our approach
From townhouses in Copenhagen to boutique hotels in Lisbon, our work is defined by restraint: honest materials, generous daylight and furniture chosen to grow old gracefully. Every project starts with a conversation, a sketchbook and a long walk through the space.
We stay small on purpose. Each project is led by a founding partner from first drawing to final styling.
Inside the studio2021 — 2025
A 1920s apartment reworked with lime plaster, oak and a library wall built for slow evenings.
An eight-room guesthouse on the Amalfi coast, dressed in stone, rattan and woven linen.
Three floors of quiet geometry, anchored by a sculptural staircase and sea-facing light.
A ceramics studio and showroom where the workbench is the display.
Three ways in
Concept to completion for whole homes, including layouts, joinery and every finish.
Furniture, art and objects layered onto a space you already love — no renovation needed.
Room-by-room direction for hotels and restaurants, built around guest experience.
The studio
Haven Interior is a six-person studio working from a former printing house in Nørrebro. We keep our project list short so that every decision is made by the people who will be on site.
Our library of stone, timber and textile samples sits in the middle of the room — most meetings end around that table, with our hands on the materials.
— Mette Lund, founding partner
“They didn’t decorate our home. They gave it a point of view.”
“Eight rooms, one coherent feeling. Guests keep asking who made the rooms feel like a home.”
Casa Lume · Hospitality“Every sketch came with a material in hand. That is why the finished space looks exactly right.”
Nordhavn Townhouse · ResidentialNotes on living well
A wall that ages with you, and how to get the finish right without losing daylight.
Our favourite starting point for a new project is never a colour — it's a thing you already own.
Designing for a one-night stay forces clarity: only what earns its square metre remains.
